This role leads the Client management for the Arizona Public and Labor book of business. It is responsible for the retention of these clients including the renewal delivery, clinical and claims reporting leadership and overall service delivery including strategic leadership.
Act as a senior strategic business partner to constituents to optimize the positioning of Aetna's products and services and to attain profitability and membership objectives. Develops and executes the renewal process ensuring appropriate margins and customer/membership retention targets are achieved. Prepares client for renewal by explaining cost drivers of the benefit plan, offers solutions to reduce costs, delivers renewal to plan sponsor and consultant. Formulates complex financial decision recommendations and presents them to management. Assesses the competitive environment and develops sales strategies to capitalize on market opportunities and drive competitive advantage. Accountable for establishing and maintaining relationships with appropriate internal partners. Ensure clients are kept informed of any regulatory issues and/or developing healthcare trends potentially impacting their benefits program strategy. Works with clients to make certain that any changes resulting from this activity are appropriately addressed within the context of their business needs and employee benefits strategy. Leads finalist presentations related to either new business or growth/cross cell opportunities with designated customers.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 60,400
Maximum: 124,100

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.

Minimum 10 years of commercial group experience. Knowledge of various funding mechanisms and overall group insurance principles.
Experince and familiarity with public entity, purchasing requirements and procurement process
Life and Health license is required
Must reside in the AZ market

Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of local market and Aetna
Understanding of Public and Labor procurement bid cycles and processes.
